All plugins are installed the same way. There's no such thing as "easy" or "hard install".
Complicated doesn't mean better and smaller doesn't mean more efficient.
The more options a plugin has, the better the chances are for it to have what you're looking for.

It's 2020, learn to live with modern plugins that have tons of customization. Maybe the above one isn't a great example due to the fact it was made 13 years ago, but you get the point.
