Knife Mod V1.6

NOTE: I Can't support this plugin anymore, anyone willing to take over is more then welcome!


Credits:
  • Pastout : For the use of his colorprint & Pointssystem
  • ZP Dev Team : For the use of their leapjump code
  • ConnorMcLeod : For the use of his Bhop Plugin
  • SchlumPF : For the use of his Knife Distance plugin
  • Exolent[jNr] : For making the save/load for saving perm items
Includes:
  • A pointssystem with tokens
  • A knifeshop including skinsshop & the function to sell their perms and skins
  • A power upgrade shop
  • Permanent items and skins save into nVault
  • Knifemodmenu
  • Give/take/reset tokens commands for admins
  • Knife distance meter from SchlumPF witch extra points for godlike and wicked sick kills
  • Cvars config file for easy configuration
  • Only nVault, NO mySQL support

    • V1.6.0 : Added the function to sell permanent items and skins with 3 new cvars for refund price + some bug fixes
    • V1.6.1 : Fixed bug : floats could not be set as refund value therefore the tokens they got refunded where the float without the comma. iow: players where rich when they sold 1 item

NOTE:
When you change cvars for prices then you might wanna change the price in the menu's itself too, otherwise wrong prices will be displayed ingame.

Changing the models for now is not very efficient you must go to every function where the models might be called and change them there. (help to do this more efficient is always welcome).


download the full package too for th emodels and sounds (click the orange "download now" button)
I recommend that you use this plugin with Jon's Knife management v3.3.

thx, well to be honost I would love to but I Dont know a single thing about sql, I dont even know how to set it up at my website :s. if anyone knows a good tutorial to help me on that then i might be able to make it for Sql too.

Attach the .zip to your post instead of posting an external link.

As for SQL, you can search in Scripting Help on how to convert NVault to SQL (hint: I wrote a solution).

Exit option in the /knife menu doesn't work.

It would also be nice if you added a VIP option.
Examples:
Skins that only VIP users could buy.
Extra items only for VIP users.
Extra tokens for each kill (defined by cvar for hs, godlike etc..).

Here are some bugs I found:

All of the users are with the VIP skin in the beginning.
When you chose a model from the /knife menu, the next round model resets to whatever model you have chosen from /knifemodmenu
Skins should be by team. It's really annoying when a T and a CT have the same skin.
When someone upgrades his items [perm], all of the server was upgraded (all the users had these items). [#define SAVE_METHOD_NICK].

About the VIP extras - i'll think about that and i'll write in this topic again

strange are you sure the users didnt just bought the vip skin? if they have bought the skin the game will remember what skin they have choosen so if they disconnect and come back in and if they have bought the vip skin then there skins is going to be set to the vip skin unless they choose another skin. I might make the first 2 skins (random team models free for depending on what team you r, for example: if you are on ter team then you can choose a random t skin for free idem for ct

idem the knives choosen will be saved, knives that you buy have priority over the knifes from /knife menu. iow: if you pick free knifemodel one and thne buy extra knife model 1 every time you spawn the knife will be set the knife you have bought or choosed to wear.

that is the point, to make confusion like when ct buys the extra skin random t models then its to confuse the other team to let them think hes on their side ;).
also you must think about new clients connecting, if you have fastdl then its no problem but if you dont then new players who dont have the skins they prob have to download way to long and just disconnect becous they dont wanna play, I guess its good to add 3-4 more skins but if you go over that its porbably gonna have to download to much/long

that is strange indeed but what do you mean? if the ppl change their name to the name of the person that bought a perm upgrade they have that item or every person currently on the server recieves that perm item another guy bought?
