I think Steam is a good source, because it allows people to buy games for a cheaper price and Steam gives more space for games, in only 1 account and it is strongly protected by a new Steam Program.

I agree for the most part, except that your STEAM account is as secure as you make it.

Steam Guard is actually pretty damn good, and it's only going to get better as alternative authentication methods are added.

I agree with you there. But as long as it's not obligatory and secret questions are still an option, I don't have much faith.

At least it was automatically enabled on all verified accounts and is active on all new accounts.
Someone actually has to do something to turn it off, considering Steam's normal user base, it may as well be obligatory
