I would like to implement a feature in my game that displays a text in the center of the screen whenever a player uses the telescopic sight of a weapon, and that this text disappears when the sight is closed.

Is it possible to achieve this task? If anyone has knowledge about this and can provide a code example to help me start the development, it would be greatly appreciated.
