I'd recommend to return PLUGIN_HANDLED_MAIN so you don't block commands of other plugins.

Good idea, but I am listing plugins I want the messages to be hidden from below this one in plugins.ini. For example, I have irc.amxx (which relays chat to/from game server and IRC) below it, so the hidden messages don't show on IRC. Perhaps there's a better solution.

There are pros and cons for both methods. If you plan to leave PLUGIN_HANDLED in there you should definitely update the OP to point out what people should do to have the plugin interact with other plugins like they desire.

This is redundant and cannot be approved. There are other plugins which do the job equally or better.
