I'm having a really weird problem. I have on my network both the server PC and my gaming PC, both connected to the same router. I tried setting up a dedicated server for Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop, and it works as expected, except my gaming PC can't connect to said server unless there's already a player on it. Otherwise I just receive a "This session is no longer available" error. Anyone else can connect freely.

The server is running Linux and srcds through Wine, since the version I need isn't available natively. The internal IP of the server is 192.168.1.102 and the gaming PC is 192.168.1.103.

My launch parameters are
-game reactivedrop -console -ip 192.168.1.102 -port 27015 +exec server +map lobby
My server.cfg is very simple, it just defines the server name and the starting map. The ports are obviously forwarded as needed.

Any ideas?

Do you connect internal or external to your server? I know its strange but it makes a huge difference sometimes.

"-ip 192.168.1.102 -port 27015" - btw. there is no need for that

I've tried both, with the same results. Also connect localhost, which simply does nothing. Removing the lines didn't make difference either.

Yea, localhost wont work cause you are not the Host.
And removing these Config Cmds in the startup Cmd Line wont fix it, they are simply needless.

Google is your Friend, found out that this is a Bug appearing in csgo... its still the same Engine
After googling for a Solution i found out that it can be caused by corrupted Game Files, so u should verify your Servers and Clients Files.
To verify your server files, use the Options "validate" on Update.

Yeah, I also found similar results on Google and already verified the server files through SteamCMD. It says the validation is successful, so no corrupted files. This bug is really weird.

Nevermind, figured out the issue. It was my router, all I had to do was turn NAT filtering off.
