I think it would be nice to adjust sprite size according to bombsite distance.

I don't know what formula you should apply, i say that on main screenshot, the 2 sprites have the same size, but site A distance is higher that site B.

Not looking at the full distance, but only on the distance to the wall

I like Connor's Idea, when you get closer to the bomb site the sprite gets smaller/bigger, it would be a very nice effect

I know, this is the problem.

You should :

1. Calculate the size the player should see the sprite, depending on distance player-bombsite.
2. Then calculate the scale depending on wanted size (previsouly calculated) and player-wall distance.

On what basis does it shows the line? Distance?

If I'm at long in de_dust2, will it show both line sprite to Bombsite A as well as Bombsite B? And if it shows, I think it will annoy some players. You should add a cvar to toggle between all Bombsites or a specific bombsite.
