So, I've been bouncing back and forth between this idea, but a couple of things I've read here and online in general are kind of scaring me away from it. Does anyone have any experience with associating their Steam account with their servers? I have a few concerns that if you could address, it'd be great.

• Will plugins like Deluxe God Mode, Fake Items, and what not cause Steam to blacklist my server, flag my server, or would it be a way to risk Valve locking the possibilities of these features out? I know that most likely one server having it, or even a few wouldn't cause them to do so, but I don't want to be a part of the reason for them to block it out.
• One thing that I would like to do is create a MvM server for matchmaking use. IF I leave that server as vanilla, will my modded servers effect that servers score?
• Does registering my server make it any more or less prone to being blacklisted due to a low score, or make it prone to a lower score or more penalties period, even if I do not participate in matchmaking for that specific server?

Not trying to seem paranoid although it probably seems like I am... I just want to know if these are misconceptions/misunderstadings of what I've read online, or if they are accurate assumptions.

There's no real need to register your servers if they're not in Quickplay.

I'd do it for the other features, though. Crash tracking, viewing reputation, etc.

Crash tracking is not available through registration with Steam. The reputation shown via registration isn't very descriptive, it just says "Good" or "Bad".

There's no need to register your servers 50 weeks out of the year if they're not in Quickplay.

If you have one boneheaded server associated with your steam account it wont affect your other servers. There isno reason NOT to register them imo.

That only effects servers who use Quickplay/Matchmaking. If you register your server but do not participate in Quickplay/Matchmaking, then that post has no affect on you.
