You mean every time you insert a new Special Infected bot, the message appears?

No, any time a special infected spawns. It doesn't matter if I spawn it or if the director spawns it.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I am seeing this in my log from last night when we played with 4 survivors on CoOp:

Also, should this work in Survival? We had 4 in survival and no one else could join even though slots are at 9.

You need something like superversus to increase the number of survivors, i think.

The plugin works perfectly on my l4d2 servers but it keeps spamming the "game has been unreserved" message every time a player/spectator joins the match.

Having some kind of check to prevent the plugin to keep trying to unreserve the game could be nice, i had to switch to superversus on l4d1, in order to remove that message that kept popping up during the game and make the unreserve process silent :\

I have a mod that lets players join the infected side in CoOp and Survival. We had two on the infected side and two on the survivor side. I also get the same message you are mentioning, but it actually pops up whenever the server's "full" according to the game type and a special infected spawns.

Server: Linux
Gametype: L4D2
Mods: 7v7 (MM, SM, Missing Survivors, Infected Bots, Left4Downtown)

I have the plugin installed and it "works"; unreserving the lobby. In status, it shows "unreserved" when 8 people are in, but when more people try to connect via IP, they get: session no longer available.

So, technically, the server is unreserved, but not more than 8 people can join.

Also, am getting spammed with "A Full Server is connected...". Would like to turn it off.

You need to make your friends join either via "connect IP : PORT" in the console or "View game info" on the steam friend list.

You need to set sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 0 in order to connect through console or any other way.
