Why is not not possible to spawn a Baseball bat?

i did pre-order but not on steam

did you get/enter your pre-order code?

if you have the bat code entered, the bat will auto-spawn in the safe room of pretty much every map. it will also be scattered about in other places.

from what i understand - only 1 person needs to have the preorder for everyone on the server to use bats.
