[L4D/L4D2] Weapon/Zombie Spawner v1.0a (Update 18.10.10)

I manage to load all melee weapons on every maps, here's how to do that:

You need GCFScape and an Hex Editor.
-Open pak01_dir.vpk
-Extract missions folder to your left 4 dead 2 folder (C:\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2)
-Close GCFScape and open pak01_dir.vpk with you Hex Editor.
-Search for text string "campaign5". To be sure you found the good one, the four others should be right under it, see image.
-Just rename the 5 campaigns just by replacing letters like campaignA, campaignB, etc.
-Save the file, remember to backup before.
-Now go to the missions folder on your left 4 dead 2 folder and open campaign1.txt for example.
-Search for this line:

"meleeweapons" "fireaxe;crowbar;cricket_bat;katana;baseball_ bat;knife"

-I'm sure you understand what's the next step, just add all melee weapons:

"meleeweapons" "electric_guitar;frying_pan;machete;tonfa;fir eaxe;crowbar;cricket_bat;katana;baseball_bat; knife"

-Save and here you go

just back up your pak01_dir.vpk
and by GFCscape you mean GCFScape
and what do you mean by "other four"

Oh, I meant campaign4, campaign3, campaign2 and campaign1.

Here's a screenshot.

Just rename those to campaignA, campaignB, etc

Is there a way to use GCFScape to edit some scripts? For example, I want to change the weapon_pistol_magnum.txt damage from 80 to 125. I can't seem to import it back into the .vpk.

Ok, got everything working except the baseball bat for some reason. Can you verify you can give a baseball bat to yourself?

I've been unable to "give" myself any melee weapons other than the chainsaw, which is really disappointing because I was planning to use this plugin mainly to give people different melee weapons. The "sm_gw" command does not work for any melee weapons in any stage, regardless of what the default melee weapons are for the map.

I also see no instructions for opening the menu. How are we supposed to do this?
