Hi there,

currently i want to setup a high tickrate l4d2 server on linux, but somehow i couldn't find any working tickrate plugin for that. my last try was a 1.4 version of tickrate enabler from one thread here, but metamod just says no. installation seem fine, sourcemod is loaded by metamod.

i tried different metamod versions, but everytime it gives me that error:

but Tickrate enabler is not a metamod plugin, type plugin_print for that:

thank you, my fault. somehow i thought that vdf files must be placed in metamod

server is running fine with 100 ticks and 1000 fps, and what's really important to me now i can create a "world war z"-style experience. really big hordes (100+) are now not a problem anymore, with 30 ticks / 300 fps they caused massive lag.

shouldnt you be posting this Article under "sourcemod Extensions" since you mentioned .so file extension format?

nah, this plugin has nothing to do with sourcemod - *.so files are shared objects in linux (like *.dlls in windows)

Its a MM Extension not SM.
And on a sidenote, tic enabler for l4d2 is a bad idea since it ruins many game features, functions on maps etc.
