Let's go, assuming I define the weapon model v_ like this:

set_pev(id, pev_viewmodel2, skin[SKIN_MODEL]);

How to make the player that is dead/spec doesn't see the custom model, but the game default.

By the way I already have a variable storing the default models, example below.

set_pev(id, pev_viewmodel2, defaultSkin)

It is possible but its a walk around method that i am not going to explain it, anyway it will be better if you explained why you want to achieve this type of thing?

I would appreciate it if you would help me with your knowledge, the explanation is as follows, the server will contain the option to buy custom skins (models) for the weapons, but we are aware that even in 2021, some players have a pc that borders on the ridiculous , and for that we created a command (/models) that activates/deactivates the player's screen models to decrease this fps drop, the problem is that this player, when dying, ends up viewing the skins of other players, which often ends up crashing your game.
