I can't get logging to work

When i start the server up it says
L 01/27/2016 - 06:15:15: [SM] Unexpected fatal logging error (file "/home/tf2server/serverfiles/tf/addons/sourcemod/logs/L20160127.log")
L 01/27/2016 - 06:15:15: [SM] Platform returned error: "Permission denied"
L 01/27/2016 - 06:15:15: [SM] Logging has been disabled.

Can the user account under which you run srcds access the folder and write to it?

Is the folder also owned by that user?
