L4D2 demo support?

Now that the demo server for L4D2 is out, can we expect metamod to be updated to support it? I tried installing it on my demo server but the server wouldn't start up with it.

It is being worked on, of course. I don't think we'll do an official release until the game is out (meaning, source code changes or maybe snapshot builds only in the interim). I'll post when we are ready to say something.

does it mean it wont be available for us?

Ok, but that doesn't tell me if it's compatable with L4D2. I see a version from yesterday but is that compatable?

No its not, tried the last snapshots of SM and MM, it just keeps crashing.

I uploaded the latest snapshots and it's not crashing, but it's also not working. When trying to do a meta list, I get this:

I'm not sure what you're trying to do. You can see cset history at http://hg.alliedmods.net/mmsource-central to correlate with snapshots. All changes are reflected immediately in the source tree.

As I've already said, we will post more information when we're ready, and there will no official release until the game is out. Anything until then is experimental.

My suggestion (to everyone) is to be patient and wait for us to announce results, rather than downloading random files and complaining they either crash or don't work.
