We are currently beta testing a few of our clients for our 100 % muted video ads and should release version 2 in a week or 2. So far people are liking it.

Been using VPP since December, nothing but praise tbh, given access on December 21 and paid on Dec 31 over what my servers were making with MOTGD or whateve by around triple.
Only issue is the FPS issue which only happens with VPP if the players have terrible PCs, can’t really be fixed by VPP as it’s a CS issue and the only fix would be limiting their ads which would hurt your revenue.
Still make plenty to sustain the serveds though even if you allow users to disable MOTD which just makes it that much better.

If you have a big community I recommend you use VPP, the staff are great and reply to you ASAP plus the Owner replies to you on steam and answers any questions and gives explanations to anything you need.

One thing they do differently to all the rest also is they don't treat you as a customer but yet a friend so it always helps business relations.

-Removed support for Codename: CURE as motd no longer functions in this game.

-Rewrote VGUI hook logic.

-Improved initial motd overriding in games which use bitbuffer messages.

-Added cache buster which fixes motd caching issues, our solution is universal and cross game compatible,
please remove any existing plugins which do such thing as they will cause severe conflicts, we have implemented * such solution so you can continue to use VPP Adverts without losing this important fix.

-Added check for conflicting cache buster plugin.

-Added forward VPP_OnURL_Pre which gets called right before a url is sent to client (After cache busted).

-Added safety features to prevent initial motd / team menu getting scuffed by other plugins which show VGUI panels.

-Added request count tracking.

-Removed sm_vpp_every_x_deaths as this did not make sense when an ad could not always be guaranteed every x deaths, please use the interval ConVar instead.

-Removed sm_vpp_onjoin_type as all issues with initial motd should now be resolved, if you want to remove motd ads on join please use sm_vpp_onjoin 0.

-Renamed radio reload command to sm_vpp_reloadradios.

-Changed immunity to default with admins that have root now, it is still changable with the override 'advertisement_immunity' though.

-General code cleanup and logic improvements.

"Forcing" people to use overrides (or learn to use them, if they don't already) would be much better, no matter how many complaints it would give...
