Personally I would like to learn Perl, so i guess I'll vote for that - although the tiny bit of Small i know from AMX/AMXX is worth building on too, and as another guy suggests - maybe TCL would be a good choice.

I voted Python. I already know (and don't particularly like) JavaScript. However, if we're trying to make it so everyone and their mother can program in the language, I suppose JavaScript does the job.

Isn't there a BETTER version of small? I figured there would have been a lot more bug fixes considering the compiler sucks ass
