I want to install Store on my server but I asking myself now if I should wait for Store 2.0 or if I should use Store 1.2 for now.

I also would like to know if I can add/remove store points via PHP from the database while the client is ingame or would this lead to problems?

idk, do you want to wait another week before having a store? thats ur answer.

and if you install 1.2 you get more familiar with how to add plugins / items.

There are a few things to consider:
(I will mainly talk about the webpanel)

Store 1.2 / Webpanel 1:
* There have been 22 Releases over more than 2 years, so the old webpanel is stable and there are hardly any bugs (that I know of)
* Its feature complete, so everything you expect to be in the webpanel is in the webpanel and it works.
* There is enough documentation available to be able to set it up without problems (given that you follow the documentation)

Store 2.0 / Webpanel 2:
* This weekend I will release the RC1 of the Webpanel 2
* I have tested the webpanel as good as a I can (without having a gameserver)
* I expect there the be a few bugs under some conditions that I have not thought of
* There is also room to improve the usability of the webpanel, but I would like to get some feedback on what works and what doesnt before I start changing stuff.
Lets come to the new features of the WebPanel 2:
* It is possible to create different security groups with different permissions of the webpanel (So you can allow someone to create and edit items but not allow them to edit users (and their credits))
* It is possible to restrict items and categories to specific servers (I recommend to use item restriction whenever possible, because the webpanel show that a item is restricted when someone buys it, but this is not shown when the category the item is in is restricted to a server)
* It is possible to see the installed modules and the version of the module from all servers that are connected to the store database

TL;DR:
Get Store 1.2 and the Webpanel 1 if you want stability; Wait for Store 2.0.0 and the WebPanel 2.0.0 if you want the latest features.

I hope that Drixevel also posts his opinion about 1.X / 2.0.0

I am just making the WebPanel, so I dont know if store 2.0 will release today.

But as far as I know it should be released this weekend.

Btw. a release candidate for the new WebPanel is already available.
