Hey all, my server is currently running Sourcemod 1.4 and Metamod 1.8.7.

Every time after a TF2 update, minor or major, it seems that something breaks Metamod. I thought after it did this the first time it was just something that Valve changed that would effect Metamod but nope, it continued from there.

As a result, I've had to reinstall Metamod. Now, this isn't a big issue or me complaining as the fix is quite easy and takes all of 5 minutes but I've just been wondering if anybody knows why this is happening or have been experiencing the same thing.

Metamod:Source itself is very rarely broken by Valve updates. However, some GSPs remove the metamod.vdf file every update regardless, presumably in a misguided attempt to protect their customers from crashes caused by MM:S plugins.

If this is the case, you'll need to contact your host.
