Hello, I'm trying to install Metamod:Source on my v1.0.0.22 (Linux, Dedicated) server but it isn't working.

I have uploaded the server_i486.so file to my addons/metamod/bin folder and the metaplugins.ini(blank) file to my addons/metamod folder.

gameinfo.txt :
Code:
SearchPaths
{
	GameBin				|gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin
	Game				|gameinfo_path|.
	Game				cstrike
	Game				hl2
}
I restart my server and nothing happens. Could someone please help me?

What do you call a "steam dedicated server"? I'm not running it on my computer if that's what you mean, but I'm renting one.

This is what i tried on my gameinfo.txt all times setted on 'read only' :

Code:
GameBin				|gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin
GameBin				|gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin.
GameBin				|gameinfo_path|addons\metamod\bin
GameBin				|gameinfo_path|addons\metamod\bin.
and it doesn't seem to make any difference

Check with your provider to see if it is actually Linux or FreeBSD, as on the latter libstdc++.so.6 is NOT provided with gcc 3.4.x or the linux compatability layers, or at least not from the standard ports/package trees (not tried 6.x yet).

and if you can't upgrade to libstdc++.so.6, try using MetaMod 1.0 RC1, that works with older libs for me, fex. libstdc++.so.5, which is current on debian gcc3.3.4 systems.
