Is it possible to make a script, that invites the visitors of my Publicserver in my Steamcommunity?
You know what I mean?

Damn this is like the 4th thread in the past week asking for this heh.

Most people consider this WRONG and no they will not do a plugin for it.

I think what they're doing,for when a player connects they get invited is wrong.

BUT.....

If we were able to offer them a menu when they join (the terms and conditions one would be ideal for abuse for this) asking if they'd like to be invited or not, is much nicer method and wouldn't get everyone's backs up.

Yeah thats a good idea. I wouldnt mind that. But people dont do that thus far.

Look at lotus clan. They got like a billion members. How? All they do is run fake clients on their servers and auto-invite everyone that joins to steam group. It just rubs me the wrong way.

hi guys hmm i been trying to get ppl to join my steam group ever since the "H" to open motd has been broken i dont want to force ppl to join my group i just want a replacement for "H" can anyone help me? idk if im doing right but i got this

is this ok? b/c i want ppl to type !join to join the steam group and i also need help on how to install it into my servers lol

this will give them the option to join ur group it will not force them

use the webshortcuts plugin to allow them to see the steam group, and then advertise the shortcut with the advertisements plugin

I bet that less that 1% are signed in on their in game browser, which makes that alternative poor.

A simple, "Would you like to Join our steam community group yes/no" would suffice, spamming bot or what ever isn't really up mine and the vast majorities to do list.

Yes, I know that nobody is signed in on their tf2 browser, but it is the unfortunate alternative that everybody has been using since it is rather "unethical" to have it autoinvite them etc. Having a chat command they can type that invites them might be nice though. As long as it's not automatic upon server join.
