Hello, I've been trying to get rid of the muzzleflash effect while shoting guns in l4d2. I manage to find a couple of addons from workshop and there is a thing - they DO disable muzzleflashes BUT they leave the flashlight rapidly flickering effect. Creators of those addons know about this issue but noone of them came out with a 100% working solutions. Any ideas on how to get rid of that flickering flashlight effect? Anyone familiar with that topic?

To clarify, are you looking for a client side or a server side solution?

Hi, there is the thing... it works 100% on every gamemode except campaign, when I join single player (local) it somehow kicks in and after that it also works on public server, actually, everywhere. Its just when I launch the game and then go straight on some official campaign server my flashlight is flickering. Its weird, because when I join realism, which is also on valve official servers, this addons works 100%. Somehow only campaign is broken...

Anyway I think you should ask on steam forums aswell (since is not much a SM thing, client sided stuff)

It helps with the issue partially since flashlight is still flickering on campaign, it works on the rest of the gamemodes tho.

Could someone make a complement related to this Mod? The Flash emitted by the weapon hurts my eyes a lot, and I'm sure many too
