Is it possible to change a map's loadin screen description and/or picture (picture ~ like on default maps' map preview) Of course on server side, the players are made to download and see. I remember some years ago, it was possible, we could modify the maps' txt files and put own colored html codes, but the plugin is unapproved and no longer working.

Is there a way to do it again?

The process is still the same. Valve blocked clients downloading the map files to block the exploit.

You now have to pack the files into a .bsp for them to be read.

In tf2, there are a few files you can add to your fast download (one includes a standard vtf) and whenever a player loads the map, it will show your custom loading screen image.

Wonderland.tf EXPLOITS this, and advertises their own community so whenever other servers run the map, and players have the files, it SCREAMS join our wonderland.tf community on other community servers. Toxic community I'd say that spams a bunch of servers and exploit to no end.

Emailed valve about this but nothing has been said nor done.
