i noticed that

bill {bill} is b&W

maybe replace it with

playerID is B&W

because i don't see the point of having the character name right at the side of the player name.

That depends, what do you mean by playerID?

The easiest way I can really tell who someone is is based on what character is being used (Zoey, Bill, etc). I just threw the player's name in for good measure. However, for bots, the player name is the same as the model, so it shows up twice. Or that should be what's happening.

Edit: Adding new version that should be chat only to hopefully fix a problem someone's having.

I changed mine to display hint messages and to L4D2.

(Also added translation since our server support Swedish language too)

It's possible I could attempt to update this for L4D2, but I don't have the game as of yet.

I take it they still haven't implemented anything in the game that does this automatically?
