Does any one know how it would be possible to exchange information between two server (running on different server boxes).

I would like to be able to have players on one of our server see what map is being played on the other server when they type a command.

I would also like to display the result in the nice green text that mani uses, but have no idea how to get the green text to work either :-/

Many thanks

Can you do rcon from a server? Try and set the rcon_address on each of your servers to the other server.

I guess this is the easiest way to do it, that they each use the rcon protocols to talk to each other. Sounds like a major pain to have to code, and from what I can see there is nothing available 'off the shelf'

I'd say developing your own protocol is the best idea, or using a combination of rcon + centralized remote database. But either way you're gonna have fun coding this ;)
