Hello guys just want to warn you from Steambots, Now people can make steambots to auto add everyone on steam i think because every 5-6 hours i get friend invite when i accept they telling me i want to trade this knife with your knife(CSGO) and actually i dont have a knife they're trying to scam beware people dont open random links. and when i check their profile its just got created.

I hope Yamikaitou contact any steam developer about this.

Just use common sense and don't accept requests from people you don't know. There is nothing to tell Valve.

You can contact them too. But as fysiks said, don't accept invites from people you don't know or click on phising links. Steam Community also has a "Report Violation" button on each user's profile page.

just look for this in any link that requires any information about you and if it doesn't have it then leave

and don't use steam's ingame interface, it's crap

Then ignore them, that is what I do. If it is a name I do not recognize right away, I let it sit there until I either figure out who they are or they reach out to me by another medium. After a while, most people will delete the pending invite.

EDIT: Then again, I rarely get sent an invite anyways
