#1

A decent number of people have expressed the need for a better style of community documentation, and a wiki seemed perfect for this. So, I have created a Wiki that encapsulates coding and documentation from various related projects.

As a bonus, the AMX Mod X documentation has also been moved to the wiki, so you won't have to post bug reports for syntax/semantic errors anymore. Furthermore, you can write articles about scripting and not have to worry about them being lost in the forums forever.

The wiki is located at http://wiki.amxmodx.org/

Some notes:
  • Forum accounts are not related to wiki accounts
  • 1.65 will no longer ship with a .chm file, but stripped installation instructions
  • A wiki account is required to edit/create articles
  • Read the Rules before jumping into editing
  • Use <pawn></pawn> to escape Pawn code, if you wish
Other notes: Do not write articles about your plugin(s) unless you are writing documentation, at which point it should be clearly marked.

If you have any ideas/suggestions about the wiki, please contact me through PM.

I would like to thank Freecode for helping me flesh out most of the initial content as well as continuing to do our graphic art work.

I think your idea either needs some work or some more information...

I was once able to search for say:

give_item
or
trace_forward

And get syntax and a description of them. Now when I need to search the doc for something I don't see any results...

Where is the old doc?
