So, I'm using the OnGiveNamedItem forward like many other people are to modify attributes of items (hats specifically, and unusual effects more specifically). However, modifying the attributes of an item will remove all attributes that it already had. Therefore, I tried to use the PRESERVE_ATTRIBUTES flag. Unfortunately, if a hat that is already unusual has its attributes modified to apply a different effect and the PRESERVE_ATTRIBUTES flag is being utilized, it'll just make the effect disappear completely.

So, I'd like to know if there's a way to grab the existing attributes of the item (i.e. paint, attributes 142 & 261) so that I can pass them along so I don't have to use PRESERVE_ATTRIBUTES.
