So far I have noticed that when porting cs 1.6 or css skins to cs go, the arm models come with the skins. so ak47 in 1.6 has the arms of the player as well on them. is there a way to just get the texture of the guns without the arms?

I dont think their refference are inside the same file, you can just delete the hand refference and it's texture

In case they are in the same file, just import the .smd refference into milkshape 3d, delete the hand group
