Reason: Because Valve are too damn lazy.
A quickly written plugin to solve one of the most annoying problems for No Mercy Rooftop scavenge.
Every 15 seconds a timer will check if there are any cans bellow certain z, which indicates, if the can has fallen of the roof or not.
The way i'm checking if a can is in hands of player or not is quite hakish, but it's impossible for can to normally be affected by it, so it doesn't really matter.
This solves problem with both griefing infected (
scratching cans of the roof) and griefing survivors throwing the gas cans of the building.
If a can is off the roof, it will be ignited, leading it to break and then respawn as usually.
Only drawback of this plugin, is preventing boomers causing permanent can drops, although theres a delay, so survivors are punished anyway.
