Try changing "l4d_hats_view" to "0"

Edit: This is an old cvar before "ThirdPersonShoulder_Detect" plugin. Recommend using that instead and keeping this cvar to 0. Will remove this cvar in the future.

Can you get anyone who doesn't have access to the bro !hat command to delete the registered hat? In other words, a player who no longer has an admin flag that we have specified should delete the hat from the cookies because it no longer has that admin flag, and the hat no longer appears.

This cvar saves the hats, but if the player no longer has that flag, the hat still stays and does not go away.
If the player does not have the specified admin flag, the registered hat will be deleted.

hi, i'm having trouble adding hat models using the sm_hatadd cmd. it keeps shooting me the "[HATS] Could not find the model ... Not adding to config." message.
i'm typing it as such:

sm_hatadd models/props_furniture/piano.mdl 
is this correct? i'm really not sure about the path - just doing it based on how the other models are listed.

hope someone can help. thanks.

EDIT: it seems manually adding the hats seems to work for me (l4d_hats.cfg in data folder and hatnames.phrases.txt in translation folder).

My clients find it confusing to use /hatoff, it could work simpler by adding no hat option instead of separate toggle command

Thanks, I have fixed the issue. Problem is this is from before hat translations were added, so if you use the command it will break the plugin if translations are being used. I've added a warning for this, it's better to manually add hats because of this.
