that extension allows you to talk with bots (chat bots).
this plugin forces bots (playing bots) to say something on some event.

Sorry but I can't get this to work. I am a noob with plugins etc so please don't mind explaining me

I placed .smx files in orangebox/tf/addons/sourcemod/plugins and tf2botchatter in sourcemod/configs, started server and typed "tf_bot_add 5" in console and no bot said anything even after two games. What did I do wrong? Can you please guide me?

1/ check server's log
2/ check for botchatter logs (in folder 'logs')
3/ try more bots
4/ wait for events they will trigger (player_spawn for example)

Nothing helped
BTW When I type 'tf_bot_chatter_refresh' in console it says 'Unknown command'. Same when changing cvars. :S

Probably I have installed it wrong. Can you please give me exact instructions on how to install it?

check 'sm plugins list'
if there "<FAILED>tf2botchatter", type 'sm plugins info 0' (replace 0 with plugin's ID)
otherwise, try 'sm plugins load tf2botchatter'
