I've added a few cvars for compatibility and bug prevention for other plugins. Also re-implemented the anti-throwable cloning from Electr000999 that was missing. All done on the latest of xZk.

"block_secondary_drop" "1" "Prevent players from dropping their secondaries? (Fixes bugs that can come with incapped weapons or A-Posing.)"
"block_m60_drop" "1" "Prevent players from dropping the M60? (Allows for better compatibility with certain plugins.)"
"block_drop_mid_action" "1" "Prevent players from dropping objects in between actions? (Fixes throwable cloning.)"

thanks a lot guys and/or girls!
im glad to see the drop item plugin stay updated, this is definitely one of the things you facepalm and think "how the hell was dropping an item not already a function in this game?" lol

so many times i get stuck with yellow health and cant get a friends pills cuz i already have an adrenaline and there is no items around for them to pick up and drop their pills for me, so its great to be able to straight up swap

Hey guys, thanks for the work!

Do you guys have any idea why "!drop" or "/drop" instantly crashes my game?

A similar mod used to work on L4D1 but it just instantly crashes things here.

Try the last versions in this thread shared by other members. I use it without issues. Can be other plugin conflicting with this one, I would recommend trying this as standalone, then trying with all your plugins.

Just tried it - still crashing unfortunately.

I'm using Source Mod 1.10 and connecting via "map mapname"

PS: The only two plugins I was using before were:

- Survivor Bot Takecontrol
- L4DToolZ Metamod plugin - to uncap max players

Did a test right now (with the main post version and SM1.10 / windows) and it is working fine without crashes. Maybe your SM is corrupted.

Try to test it in a clean SM install (download again, maybe try SM1.11). Also, check if you have updated your gamedata files after the Last Stand update.

Hey there - thanks for pitching in and trying to help.

I just tested the version you showed above and I am still crashing directly to the desktop unfortunately.

Happens exactly when I type in the command: both "!drop" and "/drop" does the same. Also, when I type "say /drop" or "say !drop" in the console (which is basically the same thing). I tried everything but it's still happening.

I am at a loss

PS: The console command sm_drop does not work at all for some reason, or I'm not using it right. But it would also probably crash me.

Did a little polishing of the code, added mode 2 to block_drop_mid_action, added L4D1 support, and renamed the CVARs and plugin.

sm_drop_block_secondary 1 (0/1) - Prevent players from dropping their secondaries? (Fixes bugs that can come with incapped weapons or A-Posing.)

sm_drop_block_mid_action 1 (0/2) - Prevent players from dropping objects in between actions? (Fixes throwable cloning.) 1 = All weapons. 2 = Only throwables.

Will generate a l4d_drop.cfg file into cfg/sourcemod and use that. This is a different file than l4d2_drop.cfg, so please keep this in mind.
