Even better, OS X comes with md5 on the cli! Just type

md5 <filename>

in a terminal and you're done.
It could be a problem on your host's end, but that should also be easy to check. If you manage to upload files without getting them corrupted on your other (web?)server, it's the (game?) server. But to check that, you'd have to get the hashes.

Anyway, I'm curious about the outcome.

seems, EVEN WHEN IN BINARY MODE. its still not working. i will however, Redownload the map, and rezip it and reupload it.

what tool are you using to bzip it? I use 7zip... and I thought SGU was cancelled - or are you watching reruns? SAVE SGU!!!!!!!

And if you're willing to shell out a few dollars, FlashFXP is a great FTP utility... I've owned it for the past 10 or so years

Im using a small mac utilty but todat ill pick up bootcamp, so my problems may be solved
