Hello,

I installed MetaMod using the automated installer and installed it as a listen server under Counter-Strike. When using the hl2launch.exe by itself, MetaMod works fine. However, when I add a plugin under the metaplugins.ini, I get an error message telling me that the "memory could not be 'read.' I have tried telling the game to activate the addons on start-up of Counter-Strike, but this gives me the same error message. Is there something I forgot or that I'm doing wrong?

What plugin? What version of Windows?

Counter-Strike: Source Deathmatch, and I have Windows XP.

If Metamod:Source works alone, what happens when you try:
meta load addons/cssdm/bin/cssdm_mm

in your console?

Alrighty, I tried installing SourceMod, and that seems to have worked so...eh, now I feel kinda dumb, but okay. Thanks anyway.

i have the same read error on server shutdown
i'm using w2k3 premium with srcds standalone
