Yup, making a for-fun clan, hope it gets big, going to have a server.
Need suggestions for it because I can't decide!
It'll be one of the following:

32 Slot | Zombie Infection
32 Slot | BF2 + CSFlags + CSDM


Need your votes - if I made one of these would you play on it? If so, which one would you like more.
And also anyone wanting to join a soon-to-come new fun-clan with hopefully a server ready by this week and another one on the way (regular pub 32 slot fun maps fun addons).
I'll be putting up the site soon for all to see as well..

but basically the purpose of this thread is to get your votes on what type of server - from the list above or request something..

no i wouldnt play.
im a hide-n-seek/surf/kz/bhop/knife arena/gun game without dm/gun scrim playing kinda guy

i would request a mod that no other server uses
like a plugin that is unique, and hasnt been made yet.
doesnt have to be a map type, but more like a plugin type

mods like hide-n-seek with blocks became popular because it was a new thing that everyone enjoyed.
so instead of making a server with mods that already exist, start a different way to play the game.

Thx for the suggestion but for my first server I think I'll go with a more popular mod to draw people into the clan. Then when people know about it, I could start doing what you said. like the Ownage clan

The only problem is. Starting up a server is hard. You need friends who will play in the server and not just you. Because, when people find a server, they usually stick with it for a few weeks. But, if your server has nobody in it, why bother playing in it? My first suggestion is to create a group or start your clan prior to buying the server. Which creates some traffic right off the bat.

I would eathier do a GunGame (Popular) or a Zombie Mod Infection.

Then there is always the custom mods.
I wrote a kid some fun FreezeTag mod. He added models to it, its a lot of fun actually.

there are way too many gungame servers. my clan is somewhat popular (15 player av) and nobody joins a gungame if i make one
