Thanks for the heads up. Version 0.9 will fix this issue by allowing the stop button to be enabled more often, in addition to better handling of shutdowns. It'll be available in the coming days.

Hi br4dy

I am experiencing a very odd problem. Back when v0.4 came out, the seDirector worked just fine - then I did not use it for quiet some time, and now that I've downloaded the latest version 0.9 to my server, I cannot join the gameservers when they are started through your program.

The servers are running in a i5-2500, 8GB 1600 MHz, Asus P8H67 server with W.Server 2008 R2 on it.

I can see the gameservers in my favorites, but when I try to join them, I get a timeout. I've tried to join both locally and via Internet. If I start the servers without seDirector they start up just fine, but I would love to use your program again.

If you have a fix, let me know :-)

Hello,

Are you using the right IP address? Enter 0.0.0.0 in the server's properties and see if that makes a difference.

The servers local IP is 10.0.0.37 and that is what is entered in seDirector too. As mentioned I have the servers on my favorites, both with local and external IP, but I cant join them. I can only join them when I use a batscript to start the servers. :S

Tried with 0.0.0.0 now. It seems to work just fine :-)

Thanks a lot!

Hello, would be interesting support for L4D2 (SteamPipe) not currently is possible manually update or create servers, what would be incrivel was support for autoupdate, however from what I read earlier it is not possible autoupdate for l4d2

Glad it's working now. In the next release the IP address field will be optional.

Thanks for sharing. I fixed the issue with L4D2 not using SteamPipe - the next release will have this fix.

Sadly, auto-update in L4D2 is not working right now since SteamTools is only compatible with a few games. I'm working on a custom plugin to fix this, though.

Thanks!

Just starting using this tool, hopefully all goes well cause it will save me a lot of headaches.

One thing though, there doesnt seem to be an option to restart the servers at a specific time?
