I can't see why you would need a tutorial on how to copy files from one location to another.

- You have the file "hamburger.mp3" or "hamburger.wav", let's assume you have the mp3.
- Copy it to some location within GAMEDIR/sound, e.g. cstrike/sound/mcdonalds/hamburger.mp3
- In your soundlist.txt, you add the title and filename like shown in the example, e.g.:

"McDonald's Hamburger" mcdonalds/hamburger.mp3

- Make sure that your server tells clients to download the mcdonalds/hamburger.mp3 sound file.
- If you have a FastDL download server (sv_downloadurl), make sure the file is accessible with the same path.

...And you're done!

i have the sound files in the server sound folder and on the Fastdl but everytime we connect to the server it keeps downloading all the files each time, why is that?

Are they .bz2 files that are on your fdl URL?

Hey. You seem familiar with this plugin, so I wanted to ask you some questions because I'm having an issue.

Every time I try to play a sound it says "...probably missing from disk/repository".

I've written everything properly within the soundslist.txt file, and I've placed the sound file (wav format) inside a folder inside the "sound" folder as instructed. What am I doing wrong?

Someone mentioned something about the sound file needing to be available in the path in a url of some sorts?

Does this plugin still work or is it broken?

PS: Can anyone else help, too?

Hello.
I have a dedicated game server and can't make the sounds work.
Appears the message on the console "failed to load sound "xxxx.mp3", file probably missing from disk/repository
