Hi! So I'm trying to run my own dedicated server off of my PC. I want it to be only available to the teams I'm hosting (I run a tournament company) but I cannot figure out how to hide the server from the list. I tried using the command -nomaster in my start.bat, but then I can't connect to it at all. How do I hide it and still connect?

TL;DR: Using -nomaster makes it impossible to connect, even for me, but I still want to hide the server

If this is TF2, I believe there is a cvar (forgot the name) that you can toggle that determines whether it appears on matchmaking + server browser, server browser only, or neither. If it's csgo, there might be a similar cvar.

It will still appear on the master server list however, so if you're trying to hide from the master server you may be SOL (shit out of luck). However I do remember it being possible to hide it from the server browser.

This behavior goes again for other games such as CS:S and CS:GO.

If -nomaster is set, the only way to connect is through the console.
