I made my first CS:GO multi 1v1 map which is also my first map, but I added my own texture in it and I see the texture and everything but whenever someone else plays the map on the server the texture doesn't show.
Help!

Did you pack everything correctly?

Chances are you have the texture on your machine but the .bsp is missing the texture so others wont see it (and will see black instead).

If you used the map publish tool, read:

Then you can use something like Pakrat to pack extra files in the bsp:

I didn't know that we needed to publish I just pressed F9 and put the map. Yes the others see it black. Can you tell me how to do that please?

Use the Pakrat program mentioned earlier. There are many tutorials out there on how to use it. Use google.

Trash pakrat, and start using "Valve Integrated Development Environment" AKA. VIDE, so much easier

Google it for further information, and how to by youtube.

What are the advantages of this? Is it a hammer replacment?

It's a Pakrat replacement which also has a bunch of other mapping tools built in.
