I've been working on some features for the next generation of the Accelerator extension, and they're ready for a bit of wider testing (Linux servers only at the moment).

The big addition is partial local processing of crash dumps, to do deduplication with and figure our what binaries are missing symbols server-side.

This build has a lot of debug spew and it will upload symbols for your .so files to Throttle, which is currently not configurable (future versions will let you choose between "off", "system files only", or "everything").

I'll probably break the server-side of this a few times while finishing it off, but it shouldn't affect normal Accelerator operation.

Looking for some people with Linux development/test/toy servers to run this build so I can start ironing out any issues and gather a wider selection of Linux system symbols (which Throttle, and most other projects using Breakpad, has historically been lacking in).

Thanks - looks like it has been working well there and improving the quality of the stack traces for your crash reports.

I have updated 2.4.0 and triggered a crash with "sv_crash"
ill just leave it up see how it goes.

Good job with Accelerator its been real helpful!

Unfortunately, due to a bug in an old cleanup query and a behaviour change in PDO/MariaDB, around 70% of crash reports have been irretrievably deleted. It looks like the distribution was fairly uniformly random, so a fairly representative set should remain. My apologies for any inconvenience this causes.

That's really cool work. What a pitty Windows crash reports are not helping.

Is there something out like this that doesn't upload the crash dumps to a website? I would prefer getting an email with the attached crash report as txt file.

Fix the problem, if there are two servers and one steam, and the other NOSTEAM (on different ports) if the crash will be on the NOSTEAM server in the future with the steam server crash will be considered (downloaded dump: servers that support piracy is not welcome.)
