Hey,
I've a dedicated server in which there are 4 cores but 8 threads. Probably hyperthreading is running. Now, I doubt ,since HLDS is single threaded, that it might cause some issues. In idle state I find a out of the 8 any 1 thread going to around 18%. And in full server, sometimes out of the 8 a single thread reaches 100%. So, is it suggested to disable hyperthreaded. If yes, how?
