Is the steam module still not working or does anyone have proper settings?
I have the latest messagebot version, a not limited steam acc for the bot and the settings below but its still not working and a lot of reports are missing and not going through either for me or other admins!
Code:
// Delay after logoff in milliseconds. Use a higher value for limited accounts or when messages get lost
// -
// Default: "5000"
sm_calladmin_steam_logoffdelay "10000"

// Delay between messages in milliseconds. Use a higher value for limited accounts or when messages get lost
// -
// Default: "2000"
sm_calladmin_steam_messagedelay "10000"

// Enables debugging messages to be logged
// -
// Default: "0"
sm_calladmin_steam_debug "0"

// Timeout in seconds for MessageBot's http(s) requests
// -
// Default: "30"
sm_calladmin_steam_requesttimeout "30"

Steam Guard has to be disabled.

Hey, I have the exact same problem, Steam Guard is disabled, running the newest extensions and mods. It's still complaining about the captcha.

Code:
L 05/15/2019 - 22:06:05: [MessageBot] Failed to successfully login. JSON: '{
   "captcha_gid" : "*********",
   "captcha_needed" : true,
   "message" : "Please verify your humanity by re-entering the characters in the captcha.",
   "requires_twofactor" : false,
   "success" : false
}

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this. MessageBot does not support captchas. Afaik the only reason you should get them is when SteamGuard is enabled or when there were multiple failed logins due to wrong login information. If you get a captcha because of wrong data, you might be able to log in again after some time (without failed logins) without having to do it. I'm not sure how long this takes though. Apparently this sometimes is displayed when steam is doing maintenance.

Okay, thanks. I'll check tomorrow, if it's done asking for it.

@edit: I tested it again yesterday night: the captcha is still there. I guess more time is needed for the captcha request system to expire the failed login attempts caused by the misconfigured plugin. I will give it a week or two then test it again.
Btw, the captcha is required after like 4 or 5 failed login attempts and is still required after a successful login. I will post it here if I manage to find out how long is the expiry time, so other users know it, if they have the same problem.

Can some1 tell me, why I am getting the message "Base plugin requested a tracker count from us" from "calladmin_test.smx"??

Can I remove the "calladmin_test.smx"?

I have reinstalled the css server with databases, plugins, configs and webserver saved. Now I am getting this message over and over in console

This is a diagnostic message from the calladmin_test plugin. As its name implies, this is only for testing/debugging and you should disable it by moving it into the disabled folder if you don't use it anymore. CallAdmin itself periodically asks all its modules about their tracker counts. The test plugin being one of them receives that "question" too. The test plugin is supposed to be chatty to let us know that things are happening.

I don't think we ever shipped it enabled by default. We put it in the package because it can be very useful to test if the messages work because it allows you to report yourself. Right now we don't have any official donate option. We started developing this in early 2013 or so.
