No, plugins have to be initiated through the plugins.ini file
Edit this file and add the name of the plugin at the end of this file like this:
weaponarena.amxx

Add the following to your amxmodx/configs/plugins.ini file:

weaponsarena.amxx

After that, restart the map for the change to take affect.

Maybe because the name of the file is weaponarena.amxx, not weaponsarena.amxx?

so i got it to load properly, but it does nothing. I saw something about setting the cvars, but I don't know where they are or if I have to create them. Sorry to be a hassle

Do you get any error messages in the amxmodx/logs folder about weaponarena?

okay. My dumbass figured out how to work it. But it turns off when the map changes. Is there a way to make it permanent?

Add the cvars listed in the first post to your amxx.cfg, edit them to suit your needs and your done.
