HLDS really needs 1000fps or less, anything more is just resource dependent and redundant in such an old game. Have you had any benefits exceeding 1000fps?

This is useful to a certain extent, but I ask, why exceed your server fps above 1000 fps when the average player uses roughly 100 fps (in this game) and anything above is pointless. Could you elaborate on any benefits using this?

I set my sys_quota 111 because cl_updaterate is capped @ 102 by Valve. Using plain sys_ticrate 1000 with 32 players is 31.25 fps each. Leaving it at 1000 with 0 players wastes CPU.

I brought fps to 25000 yesterday
But it presses on the cpu
