I updated sourcemod, and it still didn't work. I took off a password, thought I fixed it, and now it isn't working again. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING! I changed webserver hosting, went from x10hosting.com back to my gameservers.com one, and it still doesn't work. Also, for some reason, there is no rcon option and I can't get the copy and paste config for databases.cfg sometimes. Most of the time, it doesn't show those options when I go to administration and servers. I also can't add perms to the default group, they aren't registering, I don't have permission to do sm_bp or sm_backpack when I don't have any ranks on the server.

Back to sourcebans, I can't add a ban, I can't add a group, and I can't do anything that has to do with players. I thought it was working after I took the password off, because I could kick players from the server from the list of players on the server in sourcebans. That doesn't work anymore, but even when I could kick players, I couldn't add admins or add bans from the administration section. I really need help, and hopefully we can fix this as soon as possible.

You are trying to use the new SteamID structure with it - won't work.

You need to apply old steamID's to SB's to have it continue to work which is what I'm doing till the SB team can update stuff which I'm unsure of when.

I've tried both, neither of them worked. [u: and STEAM_ don't do anything for me. I have sourcemod 1.6.2. (I think) I know that I have the latest snapshot, and I have sourcebans 1.4.11. I might have the numbers wrong, but I know that I have the latest of both.

It still sounds like you have used either a conversion script or something. I updated sm and I can do all of those things except kick/ban from web panel

I have the same problems also, although I cannot 'View Profile' either.

I have the SourceBans 1.4.10 and the latest SourceMod as well. I was going to Update the SourceBans to the 1.4.11 Version to see if this could help, but it seems that everyone I know with that Version is also having problems. So I will wait until there is an Update to solve this.

Nevermind, I fixed it. All I did was use sourcemod sourcemod 1.6.2 git4558 with sourcebans 1.4.10 and followed a tutorial on youtube.

I used my gameservers clanserver as a web host, and in the databases.cfg in the server, I had the host as <websitename>.clanservers.com. Some features don't work, such as right clicking a name and kicking the player, because for some reason it says that they aren't on the server, and I can't remember if banning from id's works or not, but groups work perfectly. Just follow the tutorial and you should get it.

Hopefully you guys can figure it out with your hosts and everything. (Aggamemnon, and people viewing) I also use the old steam id's to add admins/bans.

OK so by what your saying follow everything you have said and all is working ok now like it should be??
