no one can join

I have dedicated server it was working this morning but then every time some one tries to connect or even sees the server info the ping goes up to like 1000, Then it goes back to like 7, Does anyone know whats wrong?

Most likely your problem..

Make sure your connection can handle the amount of slots..
Make sure your computer can handle the amound of slots..
use sv_downloadurl for custom content..
A computer does not have to be good to run a lagfree server..I am currently running a 10 slot server off of a 10 year old 333 MHz 512 MB ram CPU that hasnt been shut off(other than power outages) for the past 3 years.
Visit steampowered.com and have a look at how to optimize your computer to run a lag-free server.

It was running fine on a 18 slots and my comp can handle it and my internet can handle it, i couldn't find any thing on steampowered.com involving this, i did reinstall steam after the you do not own this game and it started to do this like 1 hour after i reinstalled it

I dont see any problem..

I was pinging around 90-100 on my 333 MHz comp from IL (To my understanding your server is in CA?)..

I got in completely fine..

It may have something to do with thier connection (I doubt it...I am on comcast with a wireless connection)...

Hmm maybe something with their connection to steam..

Mine was completely fine.

I got this problem to but the problem was in my firewall..
