Hi Silvers.

Just came across your plugin and love the idea behind it. It would certainly bring something new to the game (and my servers) thats for sure.

May I be so bold as to ask a couple of questions?

Will short music clips of 5 seconds loop? or just play once.

Will long clips say over minute continue once the lift has finished its travel or will they be cut off.

Hi, short clips I'm not sure. If they have a repeat flag inside the audio then it probably will. But editing that server side will most likely not have any affect on the clients.

Some of the provided tracks loop and when the elevator reaches it's destination the music will stop.

I have had a lot of fun tonight testing this.

For the moment my .cfg contains this :-

music/scavenge/gascanofvictory.wav
music/the_end/skinonourteeth.wav
music/flu/concert/midnightride.wav
music/the_end/yourownfuneral.wav
music/flu/concert/onebadman.wav

Installed on my public servers but I have not annouced it yet in adverts.

Lets see what they make of it

For me its perfect. Adds fun, tention and them WTF is that ! moments to the game.

P.S I have a few recorded demos, virtual dubbed into videos which I will join up and then post on youtube in the next few days. Just ran out of time tonight.

I will make a much longer version very soon of various lifts + music, but gives peeps an idea of what this plugin does. I love it!

Also players receive a black screen while loading due to downloading something, so its just a bad idea in general with L4D/2.

Hmmm just spotted something. My Health is dropping by 1 every 2 seconds in the clip. Not seen that before. I could be going daft mind you.

Have I missed something obvious?
