did some know a snippet how to get a players avatar or maybe change it to another one?
Is it even possible?

I really have no idea..

But I ask myself if it is possible, because: You can change the name and the clan tag and why not even the avatar? o_O

I dont think it's possible, it might be hardcoded into the scoreboard code.

It not hardcoded but it still impossible because the avatar are loaded from client side, server don't deal with avatar at all.

Getting a player's avatar can probably be done using the Steam WebAPI if nothing else. Changing it on the scoreboard is impossible as noted by previous messages.
