When I try to use this pugin I always get this error and the plugin does nothing, any ideas?

Awesome :] thanks for the great plugin(s).

if I have your weaponunlock.smx file already... should i set the CSS weapons to 1.0 damage modifier? since weapon unlock seemed to have the damage perfect?

The only one i plan to change is the SG 552. I love that gun, but i think it could use a 10% reduction in strength. What do you think? It just seems to noticeably trump the other assault rifles imo.

Hello AtomicStryker,

In l4d2 you can kill a zombie with one shot if you have magnum, snipers and such. is it possible to change this that the zombie in this case get the damage the gun really does? we tried it on specials and it does 70 damage (magnum) but on zombies it doesn't matter if they have 50HP or if they have 10K HP 1 shot 1 kill.

Of course it is possible (somehow). You have to block the one-shot kill. Have you tried setting it to zero, does that make Zombies survive the hit? If so, you'd need a plugin that then deals damage like you need it to.

Hello AtomicStryker,

I tried what you have said, I set the magnum and hunting rifle to zero,
with the hunting rifle to zero it doesn't do any damage to zombie (only headshot) or specials only the magnum does damage no matter what you set. it always kills the zombie with 1 shot.

Then to block the magnum oneshot someone would have to dive into the l4d server binary and find the code that causes it, then intercept and stop it with an extension

and the same is for the hunting rifle, I liked to give it more power only if I lower it then it also effects the specials, is there a (simple) work arount that the snipers also won't kill the zombie with one shot but still do more damage to specials?
